Premiered by Maruta Staravoitava and SWR Experimentalstudio at ZKM Karlsruhe, November 25, 2022.
The first 27 pitches from Spiritus Sanctus by Hildegard von Bingen are translated into tempo structures (Hz to BPM), serving as a temporal quotation, representing the thread that binds traditions. All electronic sounds derive from recordings of the Bass flute and have been transformed to extend the timbral palette of the instrument.
